Nestled amongst live oaks and Spanish moss, a stone's throw from the beautiful Noisette Creek, sits Firefly Distillery, just up the road from downtown Charleston. Home of the world's first Sweet Tea Vodka, Bend & Steal Mastercrafted American Whiskey and a portfolio of over 30 spirits, Firefly is South Carolina’s largest operating distillery.

Founded by two pioneers, Scott Newitt & Jim Irvin, who helped make it possible to affordably distill, sample, and purchase bottled spirits in South Carolina, and whose production is led by Jim’s son and Head Distiller Jay Macmurphy, we’re truly one big Southern family at Firefly. We’re a genuine mix of scientists, craftsmen, entrepreneurs, comedians, and cooks who’ve captured lightning (bugs) in a jar, and just like to have a real good time.
